10 years ago, FB reminded me of this sweet little moment with #mysonshine

Enzo wasn’t really into #HarryPotter. He once asked me if he was missing out by not reading the books. I considered telling him that I actually tried reading it myself but never finished, it just didn’t hook me, maybe because it felt too much like a kids’ book. However, I didn't want to sway his view, so I kept that to myself and suggested we watch the movie together instead.

After watching, he found it a bit too childish for his taste. However, he was still willing to continue watching the rest of the movie series since Vito liked it back then. We didn’t become Potterheads, but we gained something better, time spent together.

The real magic that day was the bowl of vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate syrup and a maraschino cherry. Just us, a movie, and some sweet treats 🍦🍨🍫🍒#familylove #fambam #moviedate
