Journal Entry

Never ask a grieving mother if she’s “over it.” A child’s loss has no timeline. Some days we smile and remember the joy our children brought. Other days we ache in the quiet of their absence. We don’t move on from our children, we move forward carrying their love.

There are seasons in life when all we can do is show up, with open arms and a willing heart, and let Jesus take care of the rest. This season has taught me exactly that.

I have learned to surrender all my sufferings to Him. I continue to express all my heart's desires, but now I rely on His will because God understands my weaknesses.
